Finished our last field of Nexera last night. Still eight to ten greens in sample but got tired of waiting, next bad weather might be the end of harvest for this year. Hope the weather holds for you guys that still have crop out. Not looking forward to winter, time to start looking for a hot place to hibernate.

1/4 of canola and 1/4 of barley. Hopefully done Thursday. Another one joins the October pea harvest club.

100 acres barley left. Hope to get done tonight. Neighbour came over with his machine and helping out. Crops running out. Hard to keep up by yourself and haul 7 miles with 2 tandems. Not used to it but good problem to have. Swathed wheat dry and appears to not be as bad as I imagined. Canola was good. Barley sprouted but will make turds. Elevator didn’t want the sprouted stuff but feedlot didn’t care. The “feed” barley is feeding something more than livestock. Otherwise my stress is coming down in time to work cattle and do some fall tillage. I’d like to thank the great creator and my aboriginal friends for the late summer we have gotten.

We have a week left. Some are wrapping up or close. A few neighbors less than half.

Quit canola on Friday to go to durum. Canola was testing 6-7 and durum is testing 12 now. So maybe won't need the dryer this year.

35 acres flax left. Lucking out and getting most off dry. Fighting with the 1010 wobble box in flax.
