Last year our driest canola came off at 20% and most of it didn’t register on the meter. The little vertec just needed the dry auger slowed down to a crawl. Can be done but really sucks. If the wheat hits 20 or less here we’re rolling. Rain is supposed to start shortly switching to snow tonight and carrying on for a few more day. Just quit wearing rubber boots today here. Hopefully October is better.........

We started on Wednesday and wouldn’t register on the moisture dial. Was slow drying but got it done and moved. Kept going the last 2 days and yesterday after supper we could finally test it. Got down to 12.5 when it started raining or shud I say snowing now. Gonna be a long fall babysitting the dryer if this weather continues.

Accuweather looks like no hope for whole month of Oct.. dribble every few days with flakes and temps below 10c.
The only forcast that matters right now is the one that shows up outside my window.
Its 2 weeks before many will turn a wheel imo

Yes those contracts better get filled but so do all the rest of commitments. I remember guys not harvesting til spring and Scotia bank slapping a penalty for interest going back to the spring. Those are all almost as crooked.Originally posted by Richard5 View PostNo doubt, desperate times requires desperate measures.
