Trump is not interested in free trade. He wants to go back to protectionist measures and intends to subsidize sectors like agriculture that suffer consequences from his bumbling confusion.

He criticized the WTO this morning as well even though the USA regularly uses the WTO rules to argue their case against China.

I am just not sure why any Canadian farmers who are dependent on trade, can support a US president who is willing to impose import tariffs on Canadian imports and at the same time spend billions subsidizing their farmers. I guess these farmers must really want lower prices. LOL
