So let's put this in perspective. ..If Trudeau (canada) publicly offends another country (Saudi Arabia) on their practices right or wrong....that country would probably be pissed....

Trudeau has no muscle in this fight....

The Libs here are put off by Trump, and think Trudum is much better, and are certain the Dum will win next election. He’ll definitely get all immigrant votes. Singh will win in Burnaby, so NDP May split vote.

It almost makes me laugh when I think back to the last election and Justin and the Liberals all gitty with winning and cheering “ Canada’s back Canada’s back”
Back from being respected in the World to the point of being laughed at.

Heard Frank McKenna on the radio(Roy Green Show) about a month or more ago, former Liberal premier of New Brunswick for 10 years.

The man is still a Liberal, but sounded like such an adult, and so intelligent, compared young Trudeau, it was a good reminder of where Liberals used to be, on the political scale. I believe the subject was the illegal economic migrates entering Canada,,,at will. He was very critical of Trudeau, and the new Liberal government policy of letting these migrants in the country.

Have also heard Jon Manley on the radio, who also sounded like an adult,,,critical of Trudeau, and where he's taking the Liberal party and the country.

BTW aggie, Trump is not that far right leaning, he's not even close to R. Reagan, give me a break. Cripe, Trump used to be a Democrat, and was helping Hillary as recently as 10 years ago. Democrats are moving left at break neck speed. Bernie Sanders and his new protégé, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are full on communist, self describing as socialist. This is how Trump gets re-elected for a second term !

So no one should criticize another government on social issues. You would have been the one to say the German persecution of dissenters during the 30's was okay being cause they would not like it? There is a price to pay for Human Rights. I guess you are not willing to pay it.

It started with a tweet. A public tweet. Tweeting is not diplomacy.

That must be a copy of all Trump's Tweets. Those have insulted a lot more people. I guess that is OK if you are the big bully on the block. They should not use tweets for policy.

Here is the difference agstar77....the countries were prepared to go to war over the atrocities in germany...

You have to have the muscle behind you to make sure you can carry thru...as a leader its always good to look behind and see if anyone is following you.

Maybe i agree with grassfarmer canada is left leaning.

New Zealand same France the same scandanavain countries similar.

So why are conservative right leaning or ultra right govt and policy on the nose around the world?

Example here in aust we have supposedly most expensive electricity in the world.

We have a so called conservative govt in power but the prime minister/leader got knifed and replaced by a moderate conservative type who is kinda pro climate change renewables etc etc to get the middle ground and swinging voters.

Previous PM who got replaced mid term as i mentioned was pro coal pro oil pro bussiness pro farmers pro manufacturing, small govt debt reducing "old school" conservative.

But now many think we are voting for a left leaning conservative govt and there is a rise of small right wing candidtaes who take away votes from conservatives and the left side will get in next time.

The spat between canada and suadiis made news here but on a ag show saying can be nothing but good for aussie farmers meaning we will fill the void sorry guys
