Clear and sunny this am ,looks like we will be going out of may with a total of 4mm ,and a bit of snow back in April, but the grass is growing. Mabry June will be different.

Another 3 tenths yesterday and overnight. Every other day it's been showering. Seems about normal around here gets wet just in time for spraying. Hopefully we don't get as much as they are forecasting the soil is full.

Take a dry sponge and pour water on it.....then take a moist sponge and do the same....
See the difference.....The ground when its as dry as it is, repels water. ...
These 1 inch in 10 minutes burst do no good.
A gentle quarter inch would have done the job for a week.
Ground is sealed with the pounding...reducing the infiltration rates....
Nothing in moderation....nothing.
I guess the industry is always ...go hard or go home...

Got around 7/10 of an inch here east of Edmonton which was just about right to get everything going. Now would like warm weather so it does go. Hopefully no frost as it was cold yesterday.
