For all you thinking that the Americans have it right regarding their soft gun regulations and the right to bear arms for protection against their own citizens just put yourself in place of poor Gerald Stanley. Even though he was INNOCENT, I'll guarantee he would like to have that moment back and do it differently. Just to be clear I am NOT judging Mr Stanley's actions. Besides, 90% of farmers have hunting rifles which everybody and their dogs know, did that stop the car load of First Nations people from driving into his yard?

Furthest from the truth, but you come on here constantly complaining and whining about everything from the weather, so called poor crops, drought, excessive rain, government, Canada, grain companies, input dealers, machine dealers, railways etc etc while holidaying. Not having a clue as to what other posters' farming situations maybe. From all the pictures you post you obviously have it very good, born with the silver spoon in your mouth, but yet never seem appreciative of what you have or where you live. Very hard to figure out!

Thats a lovely thought but you outlaw guns then only outlaws will have them. The technology is 300 years old, a simple slamfire firearm could be manufactured with a hacksaw in minutes. Also do a little research the states with concealed carry have the lowest violent crime rates. Just ask Charlie Hebdo if strict firearms laws work.
