      No, it was a minor irritant in the grand scheme of things. I learnt a lesson there though - now i'll only participate in "value adding" if I have full control of who receives the added value - if it isn't me I'm not interested!

            I too used a carrot on a stick to get the horses on the way to the glue factory. Mind you it wasnt a $500 carrot.

              I didn't think I was that hard up that I needed the money.

              I think I'll take grassfarmer's advice on this one.

              I got twelve bucks for last year's GMO generic commodity canola. Not a specialty or any stewardship premiums. Excellent flexible delivery schedule and no static what so ever. Hope to repeat.
