There is nothing between to wet and to dry..so pick one.and deal with it.but enjoy the dryer side.mud is gross to work with.

Drew on Larry's email was guessing MAX amounts Regina East a few days back...well he too is baffled by the pattern. Rains where it always rains, dry hard to break, moisture attracts moisture but since Aug we were very dry at 40mm now, Wadena at 60...so who knows , it's CHAOS, as Krusner suggests in his book.

We had a good long stretch where they predicted rain and we missed it and I really enjoyed being on the dry side. Yesterday it rained all day and ended up with just over a inch and a half so what ever was blocking it is gone but the block can come back now.

Yeah dry spell finally broke for us around Swift yesterday... Got 3 inches, last meaningful rain was around the first week of August.

Hey forage if you have nothing better to say go crawl back under your rock.

In our part of the west snow is useless it blows into yards fills tree lines and sloughs with cattails to the brim. So a good 100 mm in fall is all we need. Real simple. But hey your probably a expert on soil moisture retention also.

So far we’re a quarter way to the number to fill it back. Four weeks till freeze up so maybe.

But the same blocking system is in place go back check animate and you will see. So again I don’t know what’s causing it but something is stopping the flow and storms.
