        I don't think any of you understand the SCIC and prov govt accounting. Would you rather that amount not show as owed to SCIC? Then it would be gone forever. If SCIC is ever in a large claim year that money is in provincial coffers to pay the claims. The other option would be to adjust premiums more radically every year based on the previous but after a large claim year you would see a huge increase in premiums. Can you imagine the complaining then?

          pretty sure last year was a big claim year ? they still managed to siphon a lot off ? what does that tell you ????? again who is subsidizing whom ???

            .....as long as when it comes out of the Gov's coffers they don't call it a "subsidy" and break their arm patting themselves on the back or snap in half bending over backwards "helping" Producers
