Its because Dr Phillips comes from a position of sound science that scumbags like Ruskin and the organic industry go after him - and have found nothing. A few ramblings from Cami and others. they have to keep propagating the lies in order to stay in business. Its disgusting.

Ruskin is the scum of the earth attacking Docs like him, Dr Kevin Folta, and others who stand up for truth and science - no matter which companies' feelings are hurt.

Tweety: Harvard made everyone wonder what is real and what is fake science. The result of Harvard being paid off is a very sound reason lack of trust in safe the net result is: go safe go organic.

Pourfarmer, you're the kind of cheerleader that encourages the death of children from measles because vaccines are falsely accused of being harmful - with no scientific basis. You claim the bogeyman is corporations and fail to prove any harm, just talk, while the real wolves like Ruskin, Jenny McCarthy, Mercola, Andrew Wakefield et al are actually causing harm and death.

But you're good with that because you 'feel' like something is wrong.

Organic isn't safe. More safety recalls then conventional.

Sugar isn't dangerous, fat isn't dangerous. Overeating is.

Influence peddling is illegal for a good reason. When researchers, writers, journalists are taking direction from influencers, all the results are garbage. We pay good money and count on factual information to make decisions and are being duped.

So tell me, who's supposed to pay for the research? The scientists themselves? The government should pay for it all? ( we all know gov's don't have an agenda don't we? ) Who would you hire to get an impartial result? Every scientist has an opinion and a belief don't they? How about reading both sides and take a balanced view? Like tweety said, sugar and fat aren't bad, overeating is. Nobody's gonna get a grant for speaking common sense though.

There should be an investigation between CBC reporter and his informant to see what the agenda is.....expose all communications between the two.

CBC is giving CNN a run for Fake News leader.

And that is what you don't understand. Dr Phillips did nothing wrong. Ruskins job is to smear professors and have pathetic media like the CBC to report on it even tho none exists. A Google search then shows doubt for distinguished scientists who support the science and that is all they are after.

Its funded by organizations whose purpose and profits depend on lies and misinformation about biotech, and you fall for it like a 3 year old and follow along. It pathetic.

It's not just Monsanto and its reaserchers. Interest groups are finding it easy to 'buy" influence. They have found lots of people, agencies and governments who will be bought and enough naive listeners who will believe the B.S., but when they are exposed they are all bawling, "Poor us hardworking servants". Its no differenr with biased Media, Economists, Statistic Generators, etc. its so easy to manipulate data and who is the wiser?

Our society deserves to get truths and facts in order to make sound decisions and what's the chance if the sources we rely on are on the take?

No matter how you howl and hard you hurl verbal abuses Tweety, I don't want the B.S.

The organic gig is up. It has been scientifically proven that organic food is of no higher nutritional value and no better quality than conventional grown food.
The organic new crop milling oats and feed barley prices have dropped $2.50/bushel. That is a $130,000 haircut on this farm. It looks like Im going back to growing grain for free.
Dont do it, there is no money in it.

That sweet roundup in the sprayer tank looks like the future for ag in Canada.

From what I see at the organic retail stores in Regina, organic is alive and well. I think some don't believe the "proof". I wonder why.
