    Great point.
Its interesting how some people point out how "green" China is when it's very easy to google how many coal plants that are currently under construction.

    From the Guardian:
    1200 worldwide
    455 India
    363 China

Don't believe science, don't believe the press, everybody's lying. So who do rely on, or trust, posters on Agriville, who have the same belief as yours!

Maybe the Chinese realize that things need to change and are doing something about it!

There would be a whole lot more carbon in the soils if we left it as grasslands. Maybe trudeau can import all our grain requirements from elsewhere? We could be the role model for the rest of the word.

China had over 30 major cities with critical levels of air pollution at times last month - they have major problems .
Never heard of one single critical air pollution event in Sask that I know of .

Hope there's no crack in that dome over Sask!

You mean like constructing another 363 coal fired plants during this year.

The whole ***g point is, the Chinese are cleaning up their own damn way. Without slowing down their pursuits. When will the unwashed koolaid lovers in NA get that.

CO2 emissions (metric tons per capita)[4]

                    1980 1985 1990 1995 2000 2005 2010 2011 2012 2013

                    Canada 18.0 16.3 15.7 15.9 17.4 17.1 14.5 14.5 13.9 13.5
                    Us 20.8 18.9 19.3 19.3 20.2 19.6 17.5 17.0 16.3 16.4
                    China 1.5 1.9 2.2 2.8 2.7 4.4 6.6 7.2 7.4 7.6

China has a ways to go before catching up with Canada and the US. I noticed that China's emissions have been increasing and NA is decreasing , is there a correlation between that and NA companies moving production to China? Or, could it be that China needs to keep building coal power plants to keep up with NA demand for their cheap products? Maybe the Chinese standard of living is moving up and there are more cars?

Or could NA emissions be going down because we are using less coal? Would SK fall into that category? Just asking those of you on Agriville who are from SK.

So is it confirmed? No one knows of a single complete study about how much we sequester vs produce of CO2 and NOx?

You are not getting it, tweety.

No government, and especially the UN agency on climate change, and their sucked in self proclaimed environmentalist supporters (including farmers on this site) are ever going to say that you sequester any CO2. They will never acknowledge that an equation exists.

You are a producer of CO2, so get use to paying a carbon tax
