freewheat. you might want to rent a pull dozer to fix those ruts. a sixteen or eighteen foot can cover a lot of ground in a day. making summerfallow will only increase the soils moisture holding capability. also making summer fallow does not totally get rid of the ruts and you may also sneak in a little pot hole filling and draing. just an idea.

More disease in my wheat than ever before. It was the 1st time Ive ever sprayed a fungi on it and 1st time it has some fuz.
This study may explain it, fungi at flag leaf counterproductive. Its very possible its incorporated in.
"The message that we want to get across is that repeated and early applications of fungicide might not be beneficial and could actually increase diseases of the kernels. Applying fungicide as a preventative measure is not effective.â€

Not a bad idea at all. I wonder how they work in slimy mud? I hate sumerfallow, it is just on a few of my fields, the ruts are seriously unbelievable. Also, my farm has been going backwards financially the last several years. Things are very tight. Seeding every acre next year is looking financially difficult to be honest.Originally posted by binthere View Postfreewheat. you might want to rent a pull dozer to fix those ruts. a sixteen or eighteen foot can cover a lot of ground in a day. making summerfallow will only increase the soils moisture holding capability. also making summer fallow does not totally get rid of the ruts and you may also sneak in a little pot hole filling and draing. just an idea.
