freewheat. you might want to rent a pull dozer to fix those ruts. a sixteen or eighteen foot can cover a lot of ground in a day. making summerfallow will only increase the soils moisture holding capability. also making summer fallow does not totally get rid of the ruts and you may also sneak in a little pot hole filling and draing. just an idea.

Wheat is good, better than last year. Bly. is good, and canola is down a bit from last year.

Yield isn't much of a problem this year, its going to be moving it.

Lentils yielded 8 bushel to 20 bushel and weeds 20 bushel/acre. Unsprayed cereals full of fuz. Canola still in the swath.

More disease in my wheat than ever before. It was the 1st time Ive ever sprayed a fungi on it and 1st time it has some fuz.

This study may explain it, fungi at flag leaf counterproductive. Its very possible its incorporated in.

"The message that we want to get across is that repeated and early applications of fungicide might not be beneficial and could actually increase diseases of the kernels. Applying fungicide as a preventative measure is not effective.”

Not a bad idea at all. I wonder how they work in slimy mud? I hate sumerfallow, it is just on a few of my fields, the ruts are seriously unbelievable. Also, my farm has been going backwards financially the last several years. Things are very tight. Seeding every acre next year is looking financially difficult to be honest.

well at least I'm not hearing that flamans are excited about a record crop on the radio any more ! crops less than ave here but a few good ones . wheat was really good yield and #1. hear canola was a disaster. L252 was very good . peas average . barley poor yield and chitted bad. . oats very good and heavy

no problem moving anything you want here ? elevators are coming to the farm looking for samples . can price dec. wheat for over $6 . can haul any commodity you want today if I wanted . all our sept/oct contracts are gone already . movement very good here

We had v good wheat in my area. Many people told me their canola had straw for 60 but only did 40-45. I wonder if satellite imagery for crop yields would pick that up.
