So far most of today's rain slipped past us, but I don't think its over yet. Maybe we will get lucky and most of it will miss us. Hopefully!

Very surprised how strong those thunderstorms got last light
Very strong lightning and heavy down pours
Hail was bad , but in small strips I guess , may be normal for July lol

It is pouring cats and dogs in Regina now, 10:15 AM. The lentil fields still standing (if you can call it that) are farooked! She's gonna be a good time for a holiday (maybe a long one).

I got tired and couldn't keep it away any longer,,, Sorry. I still think we got lucky compared to what it could have been. Most of it slipped by us(our farm) to the north and west. Sorry for those in it's path! Can't control the weather but I can control my reaction to it.

Couple hundred acres of swathing canola to go, time to pressure wash out the canvas again.

Some guys wiped out with hail last night
Some guys got 50% at least on canola , some a few acres some hundreds of acres

I think hail insurance expires Sept 1, could be wrong.

We got the south end of it just a short heavy rain right in this area , about 3/10 in 15-20 min
