Always in the middle of haying on Aug 1, and so often it marks a complete departure. even in the drought years of 2002 and 2003, It broke the drought with Snow and Hail respectively. If July was good haying weather, Aug will be poor and vice versa, except this year, July was very poor haying weather, Aug was impossible.Originally posted by fjlip View PostSo often flip of the calendar makes a weather change, WTF?

So where is this hot weather ? We have a warm windy day yesterday but humidity stayed kinda high
Rain and cloudy this morning , just when wheat got below 16 last night

The warmest air is moving through in a wave that is heading east as the day progresses. Might not enjoy the warmest temps in western parts. And ya the tailend of Alberta's weather yesterday is going to spoil it for some areas.

I regret starting this thread.
It was not clear sailing for many areas as the title and comment might lead you to think.
It was hot but Hawaii hot, not Arizona hot....
Thursday was actually a so so day here. Cloud all day and high humidity, but did miss the showers/storms.
Oh well it looks like the tropical style weather is coming to an end. Now what?Last edited by farming101; Sep 3, 2016, 06:26.
