Later than the 45 h33 it's next to. Other than that full bloom now also. Looks decent. Time will tell!

      5440 with Lumiderm.

L252 with Lumiderm.... copious amounts of Koolaid, Bifocal rose colored glasses and was feeling rich at the time!

Had a change in seeding plans and seeded a wee bit more 5440 w/o Lumiderm..... saw no difference but wouldn't say I'd never do the Lumiderm again.

Mostly L120, and L130, L120 has been my favourite, beats the RR's, especially in stressful conditions, first time with L130, no visible difference at all so far. 70 acres of L252. 2nd attempt, last time was hailed out.

Canterra 1990 Did very well last year for an RR with no rain

            Pioneer 45s52 (one bag)
45h33 one bag Very slow, as expected.
45h29 tried one bag last year, performed very well, trying a lot this year.

30 acres of 43E03 seeded late, want to see what happens. Seeded into spring plowing, very late to germinate, so it will be a good experiment, again. grew a bunch of it last year, did very well considering the conditions, I'm convinced this could be be a great variety for our short season, but since our spring was so early this year, I didn't see a need for short season varieties.

First time, no Dekalb at all. Last year I grew some that was free,I still paid too much.

                L252 3500
L140 and strait cut pioneer 500
                Pioneer scleorotina one.
Round up seeded earlier doesn't get burn off it gets at just coming out of ground.

I'm surprised to hear there is still L120 kicking around, even 130!! Those are oldie goldies!!
From what guys have posted RR varieties are just as popular as LL, to me thats a little surprising. Genetics seems to be close to the same now.

Iceman, you grow canola from a company that doesn't have the balls to put their varieties in the third party trials!!!!

All 7444 this yr..Went for the multiple BL resistance, the pod shatter..and it has a good rating for S..

Growing tall this yr for a Dekalb variety ..At 45 inches now, and has been blooming for 17 days, with another 2 weeks to go yet..Could be VG unless some thing gets thrown at it..

Had PV 530 last yr..Tallest crop we have ever grown..Giant leaves, excellent out of the ground..Yielded 2 b/a less than the 7444..More straw to swath and ram through the combine..so decided no this yr..

Watching the test plot of PV 540 this yr at Wadena..The variety that is a AG in Motion that they are trying to get 100 b/a out of...
