CPP buys Saskatchewan's Assiniboia Farmland for $128M

I rented some of this land about twelve years ago put in oats and in the fall got back 3.5 bpa,was a dry year and I was lucky that the owner didn't charge me the 20 dollars an acre, never have seen a 30 bushel crop on it yet.

Some land I bought 35 years ago I had to
match Land Bank. 33 times the ass. It was
my choice to buy or not. Can not blame
older farmer to try and get the best price
for his hard work.

Might as well get the same deal as the investors got as a bail out.
