Time to start an 'ugliest field with an agronomy firm sign' photo contest.

We need your photo's: Ugliest field with an agronomy sign posted. It
seems that all over you have fields with this and that firm is doing
the agronomy work signs. I wish I had a photo of the soybean field
full of RR canola volunteers for this contest. G Macs was on the sign
    for this one.

So if you get a sign planted in your
field, do you get paid? Discount?
Freebies? Or do you just give it to them
        for free?

I have always wondered the same thing. I only have two fields
beside a highway, and not a busy one at that... I always have this
impression they got the seed for free or chemical or
          something??????????

Agreed WD9, there not pounding any signs in
beside my crops along the highway for free or
some token hat or jacket that gives them yet more
free advertising. They play on the Growers pride.
When they offer a commercial rate of
compensation for the advertising we'll talk.

              But I'm not bitter ;-)

South of Regina turn on highway to Avonlea and right their is a sign for Proline. On the thinnest Sickest L150 Field in the country. Nice advertising. Now down the road one guy has some very nice 5440 with a sign but what the heck with the PRoline.

Mind you I have yet to see an ugly looking field with a sign on it. I guess I don't get out much. Maybe the farmer put it up in retaliation as planting date seems to be the kicker.
