I agree with boarderbloke. There will still be too
much canola grown on canola stubble in 2013.
Canada wheat production is miniscule on a
world production scale. Canola is addictive
there is a chance of good money.

      Hobby
      20 canola at 12 is 240
      30 hrs at 10 is 300
      These are shitty crop.
      50 canola at 12 is 600
      60 hrs at 10 is 600
Wheat is cheaper to grow canola is a over priced
      crop that input suppliers screwed.

        At todays prices

        Canola 35* 13.50=472.5

        Wheat 50* 8.5= 425

Wheat is 50 bucks cheaper to grow so profit
would be the same. Wow do i miss the cwb.

          Boader.
Once again you and most people on here are only
concered about supply, supply, supply and
neglect to pay any attention tot demand.
Do your research on demand for us wheat so far
this year and you will figure out what I am talking
          about.

Thats how they will build stock.

S/F , you realy think you will get $10/bus for all your hrsw? Wow - you are bullish wheat. That senerio of an ave 12 for canola and 10 for hrsw has a less than 20% probability. If you are right that wheat maintains around $10 canola in all likely hood will be $15 IMO.

furrow if the SA crop comes off we will
see the price of Canola Nose Dive! The
market is waiting for news like a Huge SA
crop. Then we will get a record seeded
acreage on Soy in USA and again Nose dive.
The retarded sister will then nose dive
              like the others.
Dead winter wheat is Brown and doesnt come
              back.

You may be right, but with the entire Northern Hemishire geared up for higher wheat production the current price will not hold into harvest next year let alone be higher. Short term yes, long term 80% chance no. If your going to gamble wheat I would lock in before spring.

Keep the posts comming though, it is about as entertaining as watching my dog chase his tail. You change your crop rotations more than i change my socks. Never boreing though ...lol

I do agree on the soyabean thing - it's a matter of time. We will see $10 beans before $20. Oilseed prices will diminish by spring I agree, but wheat will not be far behind. I think we have 3-4 months tops to price in 2013 crop at these levels.
Stay with a steady crop rotation, you will be far better off than chasing your tail...JMO
