    Burbert. GSU member?

Grain Services Union website had a video on it comparing Prime minister Harper to Hitler. Does that remind you of someone who trolls this forum regularly?

      Hey Burbe,

I bet his 'Free/hate Speech' rights will NOT be violated...

And he will not go to jail.

Any time Hitler is envolked... we know the argument is... one brick short of an empty load. ANd they just threw it!

Sounds like it's easy to figure out who's paying his airtime.
Unions have evolved to having one purpose. Self perpetuation and enrichment.
They no longer care for the people who work, as they have convinced their members it is beneath them to do so for less than a professionals' salary.
No better example of fascism exists in our country today than the strongarm methods used on their own members by unions.
Union Bosses don't want transparency. Those that choose to dwell under rocks certainly don't want daylight. Heck, we might even clean up Quebecs constuction industry.

blackpowder: I have worked in both union and non-union shops. Good labour unions have done nothing but good in this world for the working person. Do you have any concept of what working conditions were like before labour organized?

I will neither dispute your facts, nor disclaim your experience. By refering to 'good' unions are you implying some are bad?
At any rate, we might agree that they may still serve a purpose today albeit a far different one for which they were needed yesterday and that which they are 'performing' today.
Never before in history has the mandate of "more" been fulfiled so constantly. Of course by some of the 1% but definitely by those whose only job now seems to be to convince their charges they are getting shafted and always 'deserve' and 'demand' MORE, damn the consequences. The pendulum has swung too far in this area as in many others.

Framers are always pretending to be
                        independent, tough, hard nosed
                        capitalists, walking with a swagger,
tabacco chewin, loud mouth, rednecks that
hate unions. In reality theys a bunch of
whinning snivelling run home to mommy boys
                        when the going gets tough!!!!

I find it enlightening, that Burbs has not denied the
                          allegation.
