How does the CWB justify its existence and its ability to add value when they say they have no business case with out a government imposed monopoly in a global commodity market?

What real marketing value are they adding that can not be protected in a non monopoly business environment?

I sincerely want to talk to anyone who feels strongly about the single desk. I really want to understand their conviction in the absence of evidence - or if there is evidence, what am I missing?

If stubble responds, great. We can have a chat and get to understand each other a bit better. He/she may even have some evidence or thoughts I've overlooked.

But if he doesn't answer, my position is confirmed; there is no evidence and the single desk support is, at best, emotional and hence ideological.
