    Happy Thanksgiving!!

    A happy Thanksgiving to all.

    My brother will finish canola today and finally park the combine for the season. Always nice to be on the farm when the job is done (well not quite - still lots of fall work).

    Also have to express appreciation for the good life I enjoy which includes friends and family. Hope all are able to take time to enjoy these things today. Know some are still busy combining so the time may be that meal in the field when you get the 15 to 20 minutes to enjoy some company.

    As always is the case on our farm we celebrate the Us thanks giving since never in the last 20 years have we been completely done on thanks giving. Still 11 to go. And it snowed 6 inches or more of wet snow. To all have a happy thanks giving.

      Dear Charlie et el;

      We truly do live in the best country in the world... often we do not appreciate the foresight and thought that has gone into the country we live in!

      Thanks for all the time and energy you put into this communication tool Charlie... and your supers who allow you to continue!

      Being humble and thankful... is important... there are truly so many around the globe that have so little material wealth... but for good reason.

      How we work together... creates the prosperity and wealth we have. Respect and dignity for each other... forgiveness for past transgressions...and hope in the future of our next generation... is the stability needed for a productive country.

      All the best to everyone participating here... thanks to Joe Dales and his crew especially for being our hosts!

        I love winter way to much to be in a bad mood.

            Zero weekends at the lake and one round of golf.
            And city people think us farmers are "lucky".
