What will you be looking at in the market this week? Strategies?
1) Will note the stronger CWB FPC basis as driven by the late signup adjustment factor (now $15.25 positive on CWRS/CWHW/CWES). Not necessilarily suggesting you book but pay attention.
2) Time for an alert on calls? Example - Would sell the whole crop if January futures ever got to $500/tonne (or $550 or whatever). In the past, however, you have set targets and been known to up them when the market (no one here would do that but some of your neighbors have been known to not have the discipline to pull the trigger). Buy an out of the money call now. Pull the trigger when hits the target. Use to call to position yourself in the market (potentially take advantage of higher prices).
The reason I raise these is too make sure everyone is paying attention even in these periods of lower prices. Nothing wrong with storing but also be watching things like basis levels/other market signals and strategies.
