furrowtickler - "Burmda??? ....Do not even go there." I don't think i'd want to - sounds like a place with a hard line dictatorship and a triangle where you might disappear.

Bet on the outcome of an election?

or be whether Harper will strip the cwb of it's single desk status?

either way this is what John Ivison of the National Post wrote in todays paper about predicting election out comes,

As Sir Isaac Newton complained after losing a small fortune in the South Sea Bubble: "I can calculate the movement of the stars but not the madness of men."

      I think I'll pass cp.

Paul Martin has been making so much money off western canadian farmers for so long its sickening.

The sad part is, he still has 3 or 5 year contracts to move grain through the st lawrence. And no one at the cwb will tell what the per tonne rate is. Might also note there is no competetion for that market either. Thats right he has a monopoly on shipping grain through the St.Lawrence.

Its criminal but all the guys and girls that spout the effectiveness of the cwb are probably getting nice monetary gifts from the rt hon paul martin. Lets have a pool on where ralphie ends up after he's defeated, or who mcreary consults to, or ritter advises. They could not do anything in their current position but they all become so valuable after. Never figured how that works - to accomplish nothing and then become an expert.

I see hes not on your team.

And your looking for a marketer.

              Maybe i should apply?

              What do you think?

              Nice trigger finger.

Yes thanks for bringing that up, we're looking for a new Marketing Advisor, or two, in Alberta primarily. FarmLink's a fun group and pays via profit-sharing so a great opportunity here for someone who likes helping farmers make a lot of money and avoid getting screwed in selling grain.
