Kinda can handle the two extremes. I've been known to listen to "New Age" and rock. Don't like all "types" of rock...mostly mainstream. Volbeat is kinda new on the scene, from Denmark. Cotton, they are at the Brandt Center August 28. Was able to see them May 6 2014(when we got the BIG .34 tenths of rain and very little after til the end of July). I really don't do rock concerts, I hate the volume...to loud to "enjoy" the music!!! Music can speak to the soul. I like listening to the lyrics, always a story being told.

As The Who sing "Long live Rock"
This new country is pure crap, you could throw it in with Hip Hop, shake it up and get the same product.
Good Country music has been gone for a long time.

Also like Corb Lund. Pretty much all his work is good. "Movin to SK", Highland Steer", "Horse Soldier", all great songs.

i like him ! what a voice . i also like corb lund . worked in the patch with a guy that played with the "smalls" and corb in the beginning when they were punk rock. they grew up together. funny thing is that he said corb never rode anything more than a sheep . he sure is a good story teller, you would think he had lived all those songs . i really like all his songs and would sure like to see him live . my grandson likes johhny cash and corb lund also ! he was thrilled when told him when he was about 3 that i had saw johhny . funny thing is I'm not much into country , but sure like those two! and this young colter will go far
