Although I have no idea what he's dealing with since I never had to leave crop out over winter and have to deal with it in spring. And we can always generally seed here....prairies versus parkland. I think understanding and mentorship would go further than criticism and judgement.

All too many times I hate it too but for different reasons, but those different reasons don't change the effects on the person.

Chin-up freewheat, this too shall pass. You've already begun to adjust your sails. Changing course may be better slow and steady than too fast. Less chance of sinking the ship when you have a well planned course.

Everyone has a down day. Just don't start stringing them together.

An upbeat attitude can really make a difference. A guy I knew would laugh at
everything that went wrong. After a while you would really wonder if he wasn't
a little crazy, but he made it through some really tough times.
