      If you were an insurance company, would you be happy to insure somebody whose house borders a boreal forest when there is no black buffer zone or water canal around the perimeter of the town? Pas moi.

            The truth is, with the old forest cleaned out and burned, it will take decades for the risk of fire to be very high again, so IMO their premiums should actually go down....

                The fuel load is now gone. I just wonder how the muskegs will burn. The depths of them are crazy. They'll burn for years.
