I'd be interested to hear if it was more difficult for residents of Slave Lake to get insurance after their fire...

The truth is, with the old forest cleaned out and burned, it will take decades for the risk of fire to be very high again, so IMO their premiums should actually go down....

The fuel load is now gone. I just wonder how the muskegs will burn. The depths of them are crazy. They'll burn for years.
