I have the same machinery investment style!
I do find it interesting that after 30 years a machine can still do the work it was built for. Eventually there will be failure, probably at the worst time possible.
I am quite puzzled by the cost of new machines and how they are traded so early for newer ones. I do suppose once a farmers holds the machines too long they lose value for trade in.
