Well someone booked 30 ships to load at the west coast.

Well it's not quite as bad as it sounds.
17 are either being loaded or are partially loaded.
Some are relatively small. Small handy size.

Anywhere to find out who and what is being loaded or waiting to be loaded where?

Not any detailed info like that for Vancouver.

Prince Rupert port authority does a good job. Of course there
is only one terminal at PR to keep track of.

            Wmoebis

            No its a secret. Lol.

And being partly loaded and sent back out to anchor is ****ing retarded considering the graincos were supposed to be able to coordinate things better.

2.0 mmt of space floating isn't that bad when ocean rates are low and demurrage as well.

Not so good if there is only 500000 tonnes moving west a week. But maybe my math makes it sound like there is 4 weeks space waiting.

Or maybe there isn't ships coming in next week.

Who knows ....farmers don't deserve that info.

Hey if somebody at Prince Rupert can go to work and put it up on their website
for one week out why can't somebody in Vancouver do it too. It's certainly no secret.

I guess the thread topic is kinda misleading.

              Sorry SF derailed your topic.

Bucket - Rail is moving grain at a record pace this crop year. You're on crack if you think we are anywhere close to 13-14.

So why are there 30 ships waiting and railways only moving 560000 tonnes week?

No one is bitching because demurrage is none existent. Ship owners can let them float they are not making much moving grain.

Why not have a ship on standby? It costs virtually nothing to have them there and as a ship why not stick somewhere that you are going to get loaded instead of driving around aimlessly looking for a haul.
