RTK, hear what you are saying, not new and idea of banding together to get a better deal for us collectively still resonates.
Think that as farmers see themselves more as competitive businesses and less as a union type brotherhood it becomes more difficult to organize along those lines.
For better or worse, that is the way it is.

Wm, same name on the primary elevator as there is on the port terminal. There's got to be a way.

Bucket it's a observation that freight rates are very low, ships waiting for business should make them selves available.

For the costing review, what if the rates go up, careful what you wish for ( this seems most likely to me). Costing review is nice, so were all the previous reports.

Clearly the problem has been access and timely rail cars service. What are the solutions?

Do you guys not realize how idiotic a costing review is?! Do you actually think we will get better service and capital investments in capacity if we pay them even less?!

How the **** can rates go up when they service one third the points compared to 30 years ago.

            Grain goes direct to port.

            Longer trains more efficient locomotives.

You guys got to get off trudeau's medicine.

The MRE can be eliminated when you have a fresh and current starting point. Not 1992.

Fine, give them more bigger carrots but you better get a bigger stick to hold in the other hand as well.

Bucket brings up valid points when he says bigger trains picking up at fewer points.

Sure wish I had a formula(taking cost increases and inflation into account and ignoring improved efficiencies at a cost to others in the chain) to ensure profits every time I seed a crop.

I don't like being held captive with a ransom....

Don't know if it is a problem getting product to port or getting the RIGHT product to port.

The right product is the graincos responsibility.

On that front they would have no one to blame but themselves. How long do they need to get the logistics right. And frankly I could give a shit less as long as the Producer was not adversely affected.

Bucket - I'm going to pay you a much smaller margin for wheat then canola but I'm only letting you grow wheat and when there's too much wheat around I'm still only going to let you grow wheat.
