    Farma, I am very far from an expert in anything...just good at google seach

    About all I can find online is that farming income in a corporation must be actual farming (not fake farming either such as a crop share)

    Once a farm is not earning farming or business income (interest and investment income included) then it get taxed at the low rate. In Sask the high rate is over 46% unless you pay enough dividends out annually. Then is appears to be 20%

      Galaxie you have the right to goto that RM and lodge a complaint and insist the weed inspector visit that farm. They will deal with that organic farmer.
      Just make sure you cut the grass and tidy up your yard before goto the RM meeting. The municipal laws and bylaws are there for a reason. You should get this dealt with. If the councillors seem a little hesitant, get more insistent. You may have to sign a complaint at the R M office to make it legitimate. They are anonymous.
