    lol pioneer cant put their varieties in the canola growers trials but they can get 111 bu of bs in birchhills

      Furrow. $400 with $270 of fert cost. Everything else only cost $130! Maybe $550-$600 an acre is more like it. Just trucking cost into the elevator would be $25 an acre

          And they forgot to claim the half million prize yet had the yield independantly verified? Mine ran 114.7946432709754467 bus/acre verified by kindergarteners toy combine.

            Vvalk , yup , that should have been $500 ish.
            I also agree without smoke not sure if it would have happened.
            2015 was an odd year ,very good sub soil to carry crops, dry enough for low disease , smoke to buffer flower blast , virtually no bug pressure and decent rain in August to fill crops . This set up may never happen again across a wide area.
            All it takes is for one or two things not to line up and 25% can be lost in a hurry.
