      Sorry, veered off a bit.

      1. 6.50 a respectable place to start selling 2 13.0. Prices are off 25 cents from that now and are looking like they are set to test 10 year lows in the monthly nearest which would mean 6.00 Sept16 delivery. Perhaps a little higher if the CAD keeps dropping.

      2. Opposing the above:close to record open interest in the Minn pit may indicate a break from downside price pressure. Fresh attempts to pound it down some more may not have the same results as previous. That doesn't necessarily mean price will rise.

      3. Likely can't sell 16 months out without a pricing order if the buyer wants to hedge against May 17. Only 64 contracts open interest in May17 Minn

I have some 40 per tonne basis November Delivery off of Dec futures on 2 13 Yorkton. It would have been 6.55 when I signed contract. Around 640 now. Personally I am trying to protect myself against rising CDN dollar. I am not terribly concerned about wheat downside but could imagine a 75 or 78 cent dollar by next December, so I am doing only basis for the time being. Canola on the other hand I haven locked in a fair bit. High 10's for commercial low 12's for Nexerra

There was $7 wheat bids for september 16 in s. Mb a couple of weeks ago. Will wait for a pop in the futures and if the cdn $ slides to 67 cents, bids should further improve.

                    SF3,

Best trades will happen in a futures account... and sell the cash grain when a good basis you like becomes available at your local favourite elevator...
