There is hope for us all!!
Wait for conservatives to be lead by another oil puppet, then buy a nice wig, get high, practice taking selfies with my terrorist neighbor, cry at every Poe wow, act even dumber than normal and I could be prime minister. Yee haw! Live the dream.

SK3, "Hotel California" is song about the excess of America. Are you taking a voyage of self discovery? Lol.

        EAGLES LYRICS
        "Hotel California"

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night
        There she stood in the doorway;
        I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself,
"This could be Heaven or this could be Hell"
Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say...

        Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place)
        Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the Hotel California
Any time of year (Any time of year)
        You can find it here

Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes bends
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget

So I called up the Captain,
        "Please bring me my wine"
He said, "We haven't had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine"
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night
        Just to hear them say...

        Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place)
        Such a lovely face
They livin' it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise)
        Bring your alibis

        Mirrors on the ceiling,
        The pink champagne on ice
And she said "We are all just prisoners here, of our own device"
        And in the master's chambers,
        They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast

Last thing I remember, I was
        Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
"Relax, " said the night man,
        "We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave! "

              It's a song I like. It's a group I like. Couldn't care what it's about.
              Happy new year to all.

I like them too SK3. "Desperado" is my theme song.

Re resolutions, never make them, but last year I did say I would buy a motorcycle. I did, and this year I will make more time to ride.

A personal goal for 2016 is to achieve all levels of brown belt for Shotokan Karate-Do by this time next year. I've been involved in martial arts for years now learning and competing in Judo and Wado Kai Karate. I train now in Shotokan and box with the Brandon Boxing Club. The boxing is great but I really want the Shotokan Black Belt eventually.

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all stay healthy. Please try to laugh as much as possible, even if you're overnighting at the Empire Hotel. Hahaha.

                  Try and eat healthier

To do my best at what ever do

To remember I have so many things that
others in the world don't and appreciate it

To do more "pay it forwards" just like the movie

To pray that our country will not get to the point that you can't stop to help a stranger on the road without fear of getting beat up like the 2 young ladies by Clavet a couple weeks ago.

Think I had better join a gym and watch less Net Flix. Getting entranced with Grey's Anatomy over the holidays makes me realize how vulnerable to addictions I really am. Bloodline very good too.

SDG, Recently I heard, "its not so much what you eat between Christmas and New Years but what you eat between New Years and Christmas". So get back on schedule after the holiday season, in the meantime eat, drink and be merry.

There's lots of time for moderation after...
