Noble causes should and shall remain noble. But so many result in packing water to the ocean.

Oh my goodness, Grassfarmer - Monbiot? I have tried to see you as having greater intelligence than that!

George Monbiot, who could not defend his views on the Munk Debate. Monbiot, who received a rebuke from the nuclear science community. Monbiot, who names Canada as a "real villain" and leading contributor to AGW!

Of all people to reference as authoritative on environmental issues - you lean on that incredible envirogoon!!! LOL!

And you think Ezra Levant or Alberta farmers are good for their entertainment value!

Wow. You sure picked a winner for a someone who "rings true".

      Entertainment, for sure! Hilarity reigns!

However, this time you have become the object of it. (-:

I liked the article. I made sense to me. Ever since we were children we have been influenced by television and radio advertising that we can "get" anything we want.
When we goto McDonalds with children, they give us a completely useless chunk of plastic that provides absolutely zero value to this earth.
Same radio advertising, Rally Motors, PA selling snowmobiles said something like "even if your broke, you need to have a little fun".
This is in the morning while kids are preparing for school.

I'm with hobby on this one....I have no idea who Monbiot is, but liked the message.

Like drones for farming....their advertising slogan should be..."For the guy who has everything!!!"

burnt I'm interested in the message not the messenger. If Ezra or Trump ever produced a wise message i'd post it too - still waiting though…..

Levant has produced many good messages that are likely obscured by his excessive rhetoric and sometimes insufferable style of presentation.

But you would never post any of them because he does not fit your ideology.

                Therefore grassfarmer, your credibility wanes...

You go ahead and post something intelligent Levant has ever written. Might take you longer to find than your solution to peak oil which I'm still waiting for.

                    Grassy,

Ezra has as much right to say and honestly feel the way he does... as you do. Dissing him and implying Ezra is not intelligent... is discriminatory and offensive.

Not denying him his rights to say and feel what he wants but just as you find my comments discriminatory and offensive so do I find Ezras. It's all free speech in a democracy as it should be.
