Don't disagree with any of the picks but I suspect any sitting president or prime minister is always in the running for that title, just the way it is. Time and history will recall the truly great and the truly bad ones. The rest will be forgotten which is probably the worst fate.

Hands down my pick for worst US president is Jimmy Carter. The world is still paying for his grain embargo against the USSR. He invented, used, and must wear all the associated pain that single action caused people all over the world.
I have no idea how this peace loving, Nobel prize winning peanut farmer can still trot around the world and preach from his high moral plane to all the rest of us. Jimmy Carter-the inventor of food as a weapon.
But some people still think that a Nobel prize has credibility. That people like Carter, adept at ignoring their own hypocrisy in speeches to University kids, can whitewash the disasters their actions have caused to economies all around the world. He's a sanctimonious twit.

And he was a farmer. I will never forgive him for his actions, nor will I ever forget.

Maybe you had to have lived through it.

I find the answers given fascinating. You were asked who was worst president ever and all the answers are of presidents in the last 50 years. No one mentioned Harding, or Milbrand, or Pierce. No one mentioned the presidents who allowed slavery to expand, or the US civil war, or the corruption issues that occurred under many early presidents.
