    Yes mallee, same as couch grass.
    Before Roundup, thousands of tons of cultivator shovels were worn out each year trying to control it.

          quack is nasty stuff. Guys fallowing that did a good job would work the patches separate and clean the cultivator before doing the rest of the field. I don't know what's worse though quack or green foxtail. I had a flooded out spot which I seeded down to grass but it flooded and left me with green foxtail. It dried back to normal so I sprayed it out with 720gr/ac in early August. The moon must have been right. Got a good kill but so other grass fields I sprayed took more time to die. There is something to that moon cycle.
