Snow 99% gone, now to dry up the water and get the frost out. No sign of anything growing. Bring on the HEAT and WIND, at least in the NE!

Yes sf3 70' master with a nova 560 cart. The cart
is awesome. Scary accurate with rates with the
individual tanks, u can watch your weights in cab
and adjust cal numbers on the fly.. Couple of
minor glitches so far but nothing serious. The
sectional control works exactly like it does in your
sprayer and is fantastic. Very low airflow
requirements. Pushing 240 Ibs fert over 70
openers with 3500 rpm with no plugging. Easy
easy cleanout. Switched seed and reloaded cart
in 1/2 hr today. NO BS !! The manifolds are
excellent. Been running high k blends and peat
based inoculants etc and they are as clean as
new. The raven monitor system is really nice, but
as I run a patriot I'm familiar with raven
equipment. Only one thing wrong with it, I
        shoulda bought bigger

Started on Tuesday after a beauty weekend.
Dryer in field than many other years. Water
seemed to go straight down. I'm thinking my
winter wheat is f%^ked. Doesn't appear to have
germinated last year. Will give it a bit yet before I
            spray it out.

Yes Malle seeding with no burn off will try and get
            it before emergence.

JD glad your having good luck with the Novas!

I had an experience from hell with them last year.
Sounds like they might have listened? Fingers
crossed for your their after saws support failed
last season. Did they get the blockage monitors
            talking with the Raven yet?

Yes they sure did. Agtron talks right thru the
raven. Have had no issues with them. Only
monitoring one run per tower as i was scared to
do them all from what I was hearing. Will
probably add them to all seed runs for next year if
they keep working as they are. It is also drier
than many thot it would be here. Same thing
water went straight down. Here's the scary part
around here. It has been 322 days since we have
had a measurable rainfall. That's right the last rain
received was June 22nd of 2012

That Cat 35 is the perfect match to that ditcher, I was not able to get it stuck and at times I thought I was trying hard. Just trying to get 4-6" of dirt that filled some of the water runs along with the ruts from the past 3 years. seem to be doing the trick.
Hope to get started seeding tomorrow.
