I remember those years...crappy!

Dad says '66. Snow stayed well into May and trees didn't leaf out till June.

1988 snow went then rained 5 inches flooded til
long weekend. Got hot real hot. Started may 28th
finished june 8th. Stayed hot and dry all summer
started combining august 10th. Wheat did 40, Barley
70, Canola 30 and Oats went 90. Fastest growing
season ever. Oh ya combined Rye whiskey on july
15th did 55. If I remember it was heading by 15th of
june. Looking to be as late a start if it dont warm up
soon.

Seabass, you give us all hope! 1988 was a great year here as well, but I
was a mere child, and do not remember specifics, other than as is typical
here, the drier the better. I do know dad had a really good crop, which
turned out being his last come to think of it...
