Actually I was referring to B. Lepp crying about not being able to price wheat. Seems there is another chance to play the game.

        Agstar

I don't think Lepp saw wheat pricing as a game. If you see pricing wheat as a game that is up to you.

What can't you believe, Cotton? March Minnie up $3.90 at $23.15/bu. Are our final paym'ts taking a hit?

Last crop year I got 3.90 net to me. Now the MGE is going up my entire last years crop worth in one day.

Lifer now that we are at these new levels ,pre- pricing grain could indeed be a dangerous game. If you do not cover your position the risks have now increased. Previously risk was a dollar or two up or down . Now the risk could be 5 to 10 up or down.

Agstar I would agree that there is more risk involved in pre pricing grain.

As a farmer I do not see pre-pricing as a game. I think that our mindset in what we are doing is important.

I understand that you have close ties to the CWB. I am concerned that directors and staff may have the mindset that pre pricing of grain is a game.

                    Maybe it is just semantics.

Oh and that was a beauty overnight.
