pre-harvest glyphosate on Canola

yea we used express sg in front of canary and some other crops to help glyphos with rr canola . I was really pleased with the results .

So those with experience, would you recommend Heat alone with 20 gal/acre water or Heat plus glyphosate to desiccate canola?

We don't need weed control, just dry down. Also, I was concerned that if the Heat worked quickly the glyphosate would run out of an actively growing plant and be wasted.

X2 on the water. Lots is better.15 US works good.

Braveheart, but it will only work if the plant has reduced moisture and has begun senescing (dying). The water in the cells prevent heat from exploding them ie working like a slow reglone - same technique - and are able to repair the damage. If too green and living they will keep growing.

This limitation is not well advertised or known.

We were going to spray at 75% colour change. That's beyond the usual swathing timing.

We were happy with the job on the peas we did for seed with straight Heat...(20g/av 30ac per jug) But the late cereals and wildoats did not burn off as good as Reglone.
Very happy with Heat roundup tank mix on commercial peas. 12 days to brown dry down 14 moisture.

I'd save your money for the 3 days it may or probably won't bring it in quicker.
