Six inches in Estevan, seven north of city. 4.2 here, and every bit was welcome as sump only kicked in twice in the last hour. Was getting too dry, and I don't care any for droughts.

Only 30-40 percent done in this area, which is ahead of normal but nearly 2 inches of rain/sleet the last two days. Won't be much harvesting this week. Even too wet to swath canola, just too muddy. Glad it's only Sept 6th not October.

2 1/4 inches now in Regina. Guess there's time to go fishing at Rafferty. Fish will be biting after a rain like they had. Probably mushrooms up north too.

Faller held up better than pastuer. Pastuer tends to be taller, and has such massive heads, it can fall down. Most years not an issue, but all crops had problems standing up as they were so lush, and all the torrential downpours this year.

Love fishing Rafferty. Just do not get out enough.I have found after a big rain fish are hard to catch .And they bite good just before the big rain comes in.But if you put the time in down there it can be great anytime.Have fun.
