Our area needs at least 10-14 days without a frost or the canola crop will take a big hit.
Perhaps that would help the price.

If it don't freeze tomorrow morning it should be good for a good 10 days

Tom the powerfold hoppers are a joke. Got rid of a 670 and traded it for a new 680 with a michels hopper topper instead, and way way nicer. Not only do they not resist >2mm of rain, the canola blows right out of the hopper on a windy day, the POS corner canvas's will fold over when full of peas/durum and grain pours out like a waterspout. Now like insanity states bought a second 680 with powerfold hopper and hoping for a different result LOL.

We have power fold hoppers here. Wish we had got with hopper toppers like the combines we traded in.
Next time we trade it won't be with power fold again. Lots of trouble with them.
Usually one at least that won't close out of four machines.

Guess us little farmers who drive our combines home every night into the shed, don't have that issue..

We have a Michels on one 680... the new JD extensions are made much more cheaply than the 9870 etc... so the michels does not keep the water out of the corners JD left open under the tarp and extension system. Going to make up 4 small covers for 4 corners to keep water out at tank level.

We are transporting the fold down 680... can't be beat for quick truck moves and easy to put in 13.6' doors. Need 20' for the 680 Michels unit!
