    Manitoba is relatively small but we are set up for a bumper crop in many areas

      I was talking with a couple of hobby farmers neighbors yesterday and they are still talking 50 canola and 75 wheat north of hwy 40

        Ya it's possible south and east of me - they have had decent rain lately and some very good canola that never froze earlier on. I have seen some of it and it was very good

          Plus it has been looked after right from the start - those guys don't disappear to the lake for three weeks in June or early July .

            It's a good show has potential if farmers attend! Good concept! Yea it was a 5 am on road day till late last night! But sun is up and what a drive!

              I heard it is a good set up .
              But not leaving Crypress Hills to go back for it .
              Was just hangin out in camp this morning watchin a cow and calf 75 yards from my chair - hard to leave this place ...

                Canary prices have been on the rise lately?
                Sounds like generally poor canary and flax crops around Regina to Moosomin and across to Weyburn?
                I doubt Rosetown/Kindersley area will make average this year either.
                Contracts without act of god could be expensive to fill this year?
