I think that smoke is saving what little crop we have left. Can you imagine lentils blooming at 35 degrees Celsius. I'm almost scared to say that. This weather pattern is a repeat from when Mount St. Helen erupted, but then we has chunks of volcano ash delivered. It was stinking hot and then this event changed the weather. We started getting actual moisture. Smoke and ashes to the rescue! Wishful thinker, you say!

We were on Keeley Monday. Could see about 100-200 yrds. Had to use compass and depth finder, could barely see sun. Kinda spooky but the fishin was awesome again. Lots of boats never left the mouth of the creek with near zero visibility.

Weird morning here. Fog and smoke but can't tell how much of each.

Same here cotton. Visibility under 80 yards, but am not sure how much is fog, and how much is smoke? It was VERY humid yesterday.
