I would think that half those 500 quads in S'toon will have a tough time getting $250,000. A few of the 1000 hr ones might get $275,000. Just going by hp and hrs from what the ones sold today.

I don't know why any farm would sell all that low hour equipment. They must be totally debt free and choose to spend it on equipment as they choose.

Would really be a sad story if its the reverse because trading to new doesn't solve anything, especially after this sale shows and especially when the exchange was as high as it was this fall and now

Kc ordered new with down payment 8 months ago I am guessing. Delivering to swift was wise to more access american bidders. But.

Richard I agree. Why sell it it works well. Would for me. How many times we see unused equipment at auction? Not planning ahead. Or would trading up actuallyy net more than not? Paying tax earlier would it net more or less. I am thinking net is more in a lot of cases.

$363,000 for new 550 quad two springs ago. Loaded with almost all options including rtx steering. $385,000 last spring same machine. Never priced one this year but can't see them going up that much.
