    riders,

    I publicly state "that the entire system is screwed up and that the current government has done nothing more to help the situation than the last ones".

    Bandaids and Advance payments;

    Statements like;

    "“CN and CP can howl at the moon, they can do whatever they want, but … they’ll haul what they’re asked to haul,” Ritz said.

    We are short 23,000 rail cars... or 2 million tonnes capacity... according to new revised confirmed car ordering rules in place CN and CP agreed to.

    The definition of insanity is... doing the same thing over and over again... and expecting a different result...

    Especially when the FOX in the HEN HOUSE... is the great Hunter... and the great Hunter... is in charge!

    As a Hen... I feel very picked over... all grain farmers have a duty to object to this economic terrorism!

    The fox has clearly recieved the license to take out any grain grower they choose... and as Naber grain knows... the appetite of this FOX... is large and growing!!!

      Agchat,

      Thanks for the thought through response.

      Contrary to myth... I too am not happy about the CWB outcome. So easily... a touch of innovation... so easily...'Could have, Should have, Would have' changed the course of history and we would have had a thriving CWB today.

      We must go on. And hopefully learn from past lessons:

      1] We need to stick together,

      2] We need to respect each other's opinions, property, and culture;

      3] without 'do unto others as we would have others do unto us'... with no moral standards and compass... there can be no community of caring and prosperity.

          You are responsible for your own actions and decisions and consequences from them.

            Dml is right. Thanks to our deaf, dumb and blind following of the previous system we got a lot of work to do.
            Good luck Tom.

              Who told you to shut up? Don't see anything on here that would have ever silenced you before!

                Tom was told to shut up by Ritz for the comment he made on here:

                'Contrary to myth... I too am not happy about the CWB outcome. So easily... a touch of innovation... so easily...'Could have, Should have, Would have' changed the course of history and we would have had a thriving CWB today'.

                It's to late now it's in print.

                  With an order in council Ritz could have opened the border that goodale closed.

                  Then spent some time integrating to an open market.

                  With all the proper checks and balances in place.

                  It's all to lopsided to the railways and graincos now.

                  There were alot of promises made in the past about efficiencies that they are trying to use again.

                  Some are falling for them again.

                  Remember this - a line up of super Bs at a terminal in no different nor efficient as a line up of 3 tons at a wooden. Grain isn't moving any more efficiently or cheaper than in days past.

                    actually Bucket, when you add in the costs of hauling grain by truck likely an average of 40-50 miles instead of the average 10 miles we used to haul the current system is more expensive. And that is before adding in the externalized road costs due to increased heavy traffic that everyone is paying through higher traffic.

                      More expensive for us. Not the graincos or railways.

                      It seems they said we would see a more efficient handling system. And Benicia from it.

                      More efficient to me equals less cost.

                      Exactly the opposite has happened.

                      And guys want to get rid of the revenue cap with the railways using the same bullshit line.
