Good news my patent just went through on black angus breeding rights. Can't believe nobody patented that before. I'm going to be breeding bigger and better cows than ever before trust me you'll thank me.

you could solve a lot of the resistance
if off patent seeds were available.
      simple .
no matter how you paint it tom.
everyone on here knows how ugly this thing really is.
PBR and contracts void any rights you try to imply exist.

it is canola , all over and much worse because they, then ,control every thing

No need to blow anyone. You could grow ferried seed this spring if you want.
There's a few hoops to go through but if you are prepared to do that you could make all that easy money.
To become a select grower takes longer.

Tom Tom tom! In a perfect world everything is lolly pops but this is survival! Giving a company etc. Total control till the day you die is outrageous!
          Breeders screw up farmers pay!
          We always pay!
          Life time rights is idiotic!
Look at all the shit produced on cxnola is it worth anything!
Maybe this is their way to extract cash when all the housewives make us stop spraying etc. they still could get blood money from us!
It's ridiculous life time rights! Snd you cant see a prob. with that!
Wow those beer goggles are on to tight!
Or maybe alberta starts charging a fee of 5% because the crown once owned your land and they deserve a fee!

              Sawfly,

No One can get PBR on varieties that are already released.

Seed can only be sold... by variety name... if it can be proven to be pure and what is claimed. hence if the audit trail cannot be produced assuring purity i.e. Authorised Establishment proof of containment and purity... then no claims SHOULD be made as to variety.

Must go to a meeting... have a good day!

everything in the past 20 years has PBR
so stop trying not to answer.

all this is coming from the same fairytale book that has the grain .co.s competing for my grain.

Congratulations Cotton on getting the Angus Patent. I just got a patent for a genetic improvement that will shorten the gestation period in cattle by 1 day but without impacting rate of gain or size of cattle. Think of how overjoyed cattle producers will be to be able to pay just a little bit more forever to be able to have the benefits of Angus and a day shorter gestation period if we work together and sell an even better Angus cow!
