      Question.

Would any one buy into 25 bucks an hour plus if they found land to rent use my equipment as a bonus. They pay expenses on the land and the revenue is theirs could be a nice bonus.

I can't supply housing. But it might give a guy a start.

Trying to find innovative ways to rejuvenate the community.

Transients are not my cup of tea.

The key line up there, is the skills in English part. Obviously looking for imported, more economical workers. There are people in the world that would fit that mold. And I would bet many would work harder than the local farm boy who has never had to steer a tractor or shovel grain.

Filipinos for example, take their work seriously, and 3 grand a month would be fine by them...

Mardell Farms Ltd.’s main office is located in Saskatoon, SK. and has farms located in each of the Snowden, Hoey, Aberdeen and Colonsay areas of Saskatchewan. The main farm yard and farm camp is located near Snowden, SK. The farm camp & farm equipment move to the other farm locations throughout the season as the work on the farms dictates.

Yikes they require 10 seasonals and move the camp from location to location. Two people to a room. Sounds like 16 hour days no days off. Hows it working for them?

Wow and people wonder why it is so hard to hire for farm work. I don't understand why some seem to think they can have the benefits of operating a business in our country while employing people at the standards of some third world hell hole. This guy needs his loans pulled so there is some opportunity for smaller operators in that area. (probably has FCC financing). There is no such thing as a farm labor shortage since there are other farmers capable of operating your land.

They run 24/7. No regard for people equipment or the land

They farm the half right west of where we had the peas when ya came out at harvest, Hopper.

Quite a few Mexican Mennonite work for him.
