    Nope that wasn't my intention.

The point is and I think SF3 has pointed it out before. No matter what we are doing we can't continue to argue our way on an issue to the bottom.

The railway issue last year and in 19th are good examples......

I agree, markets do take a long time to adjust, government has a role in market adjustment in this case: the CTA review, providing of course the government grabs a set and provides the necessary checks and balances will help as market access is key. The CWB move to privatize, indeed should have even supporters asking questions as indeed competition is the factor that drives the margins lower. For this new company to provide the shareholder input which we need which is farmer value it would have to be primarily farmers shareholders.

The new Ceres terminal is the best deal going for competition: Buy shares.

Support the folks who give you the best deal, remember those who do not.

Be prepared to load and drive your grain.

As for wheat and quality, as producers we need to grow wheat varieties with strong gluten! Grow the best to sell the best.

BTW how many of you took time to impact your future and write Murad and the CTA review if even just to ask for reasonable service so competition can be created.

Remaining first choice in the world today will require a reasonable level of collective smarts.

I should qualify my statement a bit: competition is created by players competing. A new company will create competition. However companies serve shareholders and for the bottom line be producer centric the shareholders predominantly being farmers is helpful; which is why the private terminals worked quite well, if well managed.

we all know that if the board had been around last winter. the RRs and grain co.s and 1/2 the posters on this form would have pointed the finger at the board.
Apparently they were not the problem.

So why now is the only option that the Conservative govt. can come up with is to hand whats left of the cwb to the old boys club of grain co.s.
(that's really going to give farmers an new option)

you do not have to kill it completely
it can never come back to it's
former scary self. (because of the free trade deal). stop worrying

the system is working just fine
for the RRs and grain co.s.

so what magical change do you guys foresee happening,
giving farmers a fair functioning and workable marketplace.

            it's not gonna happen,
when you have a govt.that gets it's instructions only from the same RR.s and grain Co.s

            why change?
            Richadrsons likley got Vittera
            paid for in one year

Wmel blending poorer grades. WTF it goes on today all the time.

              Here is a prime example.
CPS Red coming in and HRS #2 #3 and Feed.

Cars left and looking at the bin levels and chatting.

ITs a great blend of All the above into cars cleaned to the coast.

Also last years shit show on rail. East Sask Sacrificed so Alberta and West Sask grain moved to make it look like the railways were moving grain. Contracts 6 to 12 months behind. Delivering a Feb contract signed in 2013spring then del in fall of 2014 and it was a October 2013 delivery period. Payback to producer for his inconvenience. **** all. Short on contracts 2014 due to hail Pay company for lost production. Thousands. Ah great system.

Furrow yes that is taking place, because you don't know today what you will be able to seed in the spring of 2015. Water table is so high a one inch spring rain or heavy snow in end of April and were back in mud zone.
Also a problem is pulling these rigs through mud.
Floating is gaining momentum in our area in fall.
But the topic is drier 2015 and if its the beginning of a new dryer period for the prairies some of us have been waiting for this for along time.
                  Bring it on, please.
