For those selling grain into the USA; everyone pays the "North Dakota Wheat commission levy"....not Canadian ones.

Just another angle that comes up with changes from past ways of marketing.

Oliver, it should be a cereals commission. Those guys in AB with barley and wheat need to put the big boy pants on and get rid of half the directors/expenses and just make a cereal commission.

Crops like oats, trit, rye, could benefit greatly from the millions that wheat and barley take in instead of starving on the sidelines.

Maybe it will happen, but i'm not holding my breath.

I don't think there is a Sask oat commission.
Only am aware of the POGA.....Alberta could be different and have a provincial commission.

Wheat has two separate deductions on cheques I do know for sure. I wouldn't be opposed to the prairie wide cereals commission idea tweety.

Tweety, why speakest thou this way? The SWDC, though new, is building contacts everywhere( except perhaps in government where closed minds may just refuse to recognize those whom farmers have elected. And the WCWGA). They are also meeting with Alberta and Manitoba next week. Collaboration abounds.

The new wheat commission in Sk will push for public breeding in cereals. I'm not sure a commission dominated by wcwga would. I think we would be in a canola model for cereals in a very short time.
